Privacy Policy

Montaque Travel & Consulting ("MT&C", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page describes what information we collect when you visit our site or inquire about a trip, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit a contact form or book a discovery call, we collect your name, email, phone, and any details you choose to share about the trip you're considering. We may also collect basic site analytics (page views, referrer, device type) to help us improve the site.

How we use it

We use what you share to respond to your inquiry, plan and operate your trip, and communicate with you about your work with MT&C. We share information with the travel suppliers necessary to deliver your trip (hotels, restaurants, ground partners, etc.) and service providers that support our website. If you accept marketing cookies, we also share browsing information with Meta as described below.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential storage for basic site functionality. Optional visit, time-on-page and feature-use analytics remain off until you choose “Accept marketing cookies,” and stop on withdrawal or decline. You can change your choice using Cookie settings.

Minami and optional AI planning only send the messages, trip details, or quiz answers you choose to submit to our AI service after you separately choose “Allow AI.” You may keep AI off even when you accept marketing cookies, or allow AI while declining marketing cookies. AI settings lets you withdraw this permission at any time. Withdrawal stops new requests; a request already submitted may finish processing. Essential security, sign-in, and requested services remain separate from optional advertising, analytics, and AI processing.

Marketing cookies are optional and off until you choose “Accept marketing cookies.” With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel (ID 1455279816492811) to send page views on public marketing pages to Meta Platforms to measure advertising effectiveness. Meta may receive the page URL, browser and device information, IP address, and identifiers stored in its cookies, and may associate these with your Meta account under its own privacy policy. We do not send form entries, quiz answers, or trip plans through this integration.

The MT&C client app uses the same optional consent preference. After you accept, it sends page-view events for app navigation and a CompleteRegistration event only when Clerk confirms that a new account was successfully created. It does not count ordinary sign-ins as registrations. We never send names, emails, phone numbers, account identifiers, quiz answers, or trip details to Meta. In the app, explicit event parameters contain only fixed page categories. The standard pixel includes the current page URL, so we pause event tracking on private record and shared-trip URLs and on URLs containing query strings or fragments. This keeps private identifiers, sign-in tokens, and form contents out of advertising events. Meta still receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details after you consent.

You can accept or decline marketing cookies and change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the website footer or at the bottom of the app. Your choice is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. Declining does not prevent using the site. Withdrawing permission stops future pixel tracking and removes accessible Meta marketing cookies set on this site; it does not delete information Meta previously received. How we protect your data

Your account is protected by industry-standard authentication (provided by Clerk), and all traffic to and from our site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details. Trip plans and personal details you save in the client app are stored in a secured database with access limited to MT&C staff. We keep only what we need to serve you. Optional marketing data sharing is controlled by your cookie choice as described above.

AI on this site

This website and the MT&C client app were built with the assistance of AI tools. Our digital concierge, Minami, is an AI-powered assistant: conversations with Minami are processed by an AI language model to generate responses, and are automatically screened to remove personal identifiers before storage. AI features are always clearly presented as such, and AI suggestions in the trip planner are labeled separately from hand-picked MT&C recommendations. Your itinerary always gets human review — AI assists our work; it does not replace it.

Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of your information at any time by emailing Owner@mtcgbl.net. Signed-in customers can also request account deletion in the app under Account settings, including when their paid access has expired. We verify the signed-in account and its verified email. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will explain any additional time permitted by applicable law.

A deletion request makes the account read-only and revokes connected AI access. You can withdraw a pending request before processing begins. Staff check subscription cancellation, connected services, and legal retention obligations before deleting the login account, saved trips and profile, quiz records, owned shared-trip links, reviews, and related app records. Identifiable records in connected services and legacy conversations are reviewed separately by staff; deleting a login alone does not erase those copies.

Account deletion is not a request to cancel travel bookings and does not automatically refund subscription fees or retainers. Use Manage subscription to arrange cancellation; staff cannot complete deletion while a linked Stripe subscription is still active, including one scheduled to cancel later. Financial, legal, dispute, and fraud-prevention records may be retained where necessary. A minimal deletion audit record is normally removed by scheduled cleanup after 90 days following completion. Backup copies expire under backup retention processes rather than being erased instantly. Information you downloaded or shared with others is outside our ability to remove.
